Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Neu Holdings Inc. (d/b/a Tractionify) (“Tractionify,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit themes.tractionify.com, purchase the Maison theme, or use the license-activation system embedded in the Theme.

If you are a customer of a store that uses Maison, your personal information is held by that store, not by Tractionify. We do not see or store the data of the store’s end customers.

1. Who we are

Tractionify is the controller of personal information collected through themes.tractionify.com and the Maison license system.

2. What we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to deliver and support the Theme.

When you visit themes.tractionify.com

• Standard server access logs (IP address, browser, page visited, timestamp) collected by Cloudflare, our hosting provider. Used for security and aggregate analytics.

When you purchase the Theme

Collected by Stripe, our payment processor, on our behalf:

• Your name
• Your billing email address
• Your billing address
• Payment card information (Stripe stores and processes — we never see the card number)

Stripe shares the following with us for our records:

• Email address
• Country / billing region (for tax purposes)
• Purchase amount, currency, and timestamp
• Stripe customer ID and payment intent ID (internal references)

When you receive your license email

We use Resend to send transactional emails containing your license key and download link. Resend retains the email address and delivery status for our records.

When you activate your license on your Shopify store

Your store, running the Maison Theme, sends the following to our license server:

• Your shop domain (*.myshopify.com)
• Your license key

We do not receive or store:

• Any data about visitors to your store
• Your product catalog, customer list, or order history
• Cookies, browsing behavior, or analytics from your visitors

The license check happens once per browser session and fails open if our server is unreachable.

When you email us for support

The email address and content of your message, retained while needed to support you and as part of our standard email archive.

3. How we use your information

We use the information above to:

1. Deliver the Theme. Send you the license key and download link; verify your license is active and bound to your store on every page load.
2. Provide support. Respond to your emails, troubleshoot issues, rebind licenses when you migrate stores.
3. Process payments. Through Stripe; we do not handle payment credentials directly.
4. Comply with legal obligations. Tax records, accounting, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
5. Detect and prevent fraud. Identify chargeback patterns, license-sharing, and unauthorized activation attempts.
6. Improve the product. Aggregate, anonymous usage metrics to prioritize features and bug fixes.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with marketing affiliates.

4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar protections, our legal bases for processing your information are:

• Contractual necessity for license delivery, activation, and support.
• Legitimate interest in operating the business, detecting fraud, and improving the product.
• Legal obligation for tax, accounting, and dispute records.
• Consent where required (for example, marketing emails — if we ever send them, you opt in explicitly).

5. Third parties we share with

We share only the information necessary for each provider to do its job. Each of the following has its own privacy policy that governs how they process the data we send them:

• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing.
• Resend, Inc. — transactional email delivery.
• Cloudflare, Inc. — infrastructure for our license server, file hosting, and edge caching.

We do not authorize any of these providers to use your information for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

Our service providers may store and process data outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on:

• The European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA.
• The UK Addendum to the SCCs for transfers from the UK.
• Adequacy decisions where they apply.

7. How long we keep your information

After the retention period we either delete the data or anonymize it beyond recovery.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

• Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold.
• Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
• Deletion — ask us to delete your data, subject to our retention obligations.
• Restriction — ask us to pause processing.
• Portability — receive a machine-readable copy.
• Objection — object to processing on legitimate-interest grounds.
• Withdraw consent — for any processing based on your consent.
• Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the EEA, your national data protection authority).

To exercise any of these rights, email support@tractionify.com. We respond within 30 days. If you ask us to delete data, the license bound to that data will be revoked.

9. California residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights including the right to know what we collect, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of “sales” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise any California-specific right, email support@tractionify.com with “California Privacy Request” in the subject.

10. Cookies

themes.tractionify.com uses essential cookies set by Cloudflare for the website to function (security, anti-bot). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on themes.tractionify.com.

The Maison Theme itself does not add cookies to your Shopify store. Cookies on your storefront are set by Shopify, by any apps you install, and by your own configuration — not by the Theme.

11. Security

We protect personal information using:

• HTTPS / TLS for all data in transit
• Encryption at rest for license records (Cloudflare KV)
• Access controls — only authorized Tractionify personnel can access customer data
• No payment card data ever touches our systems (Stripe handles it)

No system is perfectly secure. If we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

12. Children

The Theme and themes.tractionify.com are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to active license holders and posted on this page at least 30 days before taking effect. The current version is always available on this page; the “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
